Disappointment or delivery?

Jesus began the process of your life. You are not a random act that is searching for meaning. You are a purposeful and beautiful creation; one in which God Himself has always been intricately involved.

Jeremiah 1:5 – “Before I formed you in the womb I knew  (chose) you, before you were born I set you apart.”

He chose you, yes, you! You are special to Him! He takes delight in your life. There is nothing accidental about what is going on with you. He brought you to the place of delivery in your mother’s womb. Now, He is stirring something inside of you – speaking to you to bring something forth out of your life – out of the depths of your being.

Isaiah 66:9 – “Do I bring to the moment of birth and not bring delivery? says the Lord. Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery says your God?”

Birthing can be a painful experience. It can hurt! Many of you feel something inside of you, churning and moving. Will this process bring me disappointment? Will it kill me? Every new mother wonders if they can make it through the birth of their child. I am pregnant in my spirit right now with new things and I am feeling the things “birthers” must feel when they face this point.

God initiated this process. God planted the seed of life. God has brought me to this point. What will happen now? He will bring delivery – He will not close me up so that I am disappointed and barren. He brings to the moment of birth for the purpose of  delivery.

He is doing something similar in you. You will soon forget the pain of your birthing experience and will rejoice that the Son of Man has birthed His life and His will in you!

He brought you forth at the beginning of your life. He is birthing in you now. He will finish what He started and you will soon be holding in your hands something incredible that only God could do because it has been born of the Spirit!
